The Major Case Assistance Team (MCAT) is a task force comprised of police officers from 23 police departments in the northwest suburbs. When a homicide occurs, the home agency can activate MCAT and dozens of officers will descend upon that town to do forensic work and investigate the crime.  I worked closely with MCAT on many homicide investigations, providing legal advice on such things as search warrants and interrogations, and determining if and when charges were appropriate.  I am truly honored to be endorsed by these retired MCAT Directors.
